Janie Reinart
Janie revels in playing with words. As an author, educator, storyteller, and poet, words are her tools. Janie’s passionate about encouraging emergent writers of all ages to find their voice, share their stories, and experience the sheer joy of writing. She lives in Chagrin Falls, Ohio with her charming husband. Janie relishes reading historical novels and poetry, writing picture books and singing, and delights in playing with her 16 grandchildren. Dawn Young
For years, Dawn worked as an engineer and then as a manager at a large aerospace company, until her creative side called her to pursue her dream of writing children’s books. After reading and writing hundreds of corporate documents, none of which were titled The Little Engineer Who Could, Dawn is thrilled to now be reading and writing picture books instead. Dawn is also a math enthusiast. In high school, Dawn’s dream was to have a math equation named after her, but now, she believes having her name on the cover of books is a million times better! Ann Magee
Ann is a poet and children’s author who writes narrative nonfiction picture books, MG biographies and histories in verse. A lifelong learner, Ann loves to ask questions and discover little-known stories from history, which has opened up a fascinating new world. With so much to learn and know, Ann is excited to research and bring important true stories to life for children. Colleen Rowan Kosinki
Colleen received her B.A. from Rutgers University in visual art, and is an alumna of Moore College of Art. She has always found joy in creating. After many years as a successful freelance fine artist, Colleen rediscovered her passion for writing. She lives in Cherry Hill, NJ with her family and canine office assistant. As a lover of nature and animals, Colleen can often be found nursing a sick rabbit or robin back to health. Kristen Nordstrom
Kristen has loved the beauty of nature, the genius of children, and all things literary for as long as she can remember. Somehow she managed to combine all these amazing things into one very rewarding job - a teacher!
